During our reverse engineering efforts, it was found that Pokémon X/Y use AAC files for the music. So, to achieve feature parity between LLE & HLE audio, our developer B3N30 implemented an HLE AAC decoder. This makes Pokémon X/Y work at full speed, with audio, without using the slow LLE method. Currently this feature is only available for Citra Canary releases.
This feature depends on AAC codecs which, unfortunately, due to patent issues, we cannot include in the builds. You can get these files by following the instructions below.
Please note that this method might not improve audio or performance for all games that started working on LLE.

Instructions

  • If you are using macOS, you don't need anything else. It will work directly.
  • If you are using Windows -
    • Note: Citra changed its way of loading DLLs in Canary build 1130. If you are still using Citra Canary 1129, you should update your Citra first before doing the folllowing steps.
    • Download this zip file - FFmpeg DLLs
    • Select Open Citra Folder in the File menu of Citra. It should lead you to the User Directory.Citra's user directory is where the emulator persists the emulated 3DS NAND, save data, extra data, and a host of other files necessary for Citra to run properly. The path of the user directory varies on different systems:
      • Windows, the path is C:/Users/[your-user-name]/AppData/Roaming/Citra/. Note that the folder AppData is hidden by default, so you need to change the configuration to view it.
        • in old version of Citra, the user directory used to be the user folder in the same directory as the Citra executable.
    • now extract the contents of bin folder in the ZIP, into the external_dlls folder located in the User Directory. You may need to create the external_dlls folder if it does not exist.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are two 2014 role-playing video games developed by Game Freak, published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. They are part of the sixth generation of the Pokémon series, serving as enhanced remakes of the 2002 Game Boy Advance titles Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. The games were announced on May 7, 2014, in a teaser trailer released by Nintendo.

Gameplay

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire retain most of the features of Pokémon X and Y, such as Mega Evolution and Super Training. The games introduced new features including Primal Reversion for Groudon and Kyogre, as well as using Latios or Latias to fly around Hoenn.

Plot and setting

The plot and setting of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are mostly the same as the original Ruby and Sapphire games. The game begins as the player is seen riding in the back of a moving truck. The player character starts by moving to the Hoenn Region from the Johto Region with his/her mother, as their father Norman has been hired as the leader of the Petalburg City Gym. The player arrives with their parents at the family's new home in the village of Littleroot Town, on the southern edge of the main island. The player character begins their Pokémon Trainer journey by saving Professor Birch, the leading scientist in the Hoenn region, from a wild Pokémon, choosing either Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip to defend him. Following the defeat of the wild Pokémon, the player receives the chosen Pokémon as their starter. They then travel around the Hoenn Region to complete their Pokédex and battle the eight Gym Leaders of the Hoenn Pokémon League. Along the way, the player character encounters the antagonist group Team Magma in Omega Ruby or Team Aqua in Alpha Sapphire who wish to use the power of the Legendary Pokémon, Primal Kyogre in Alpha Sapphire and Primal Groudon in Omega Ruby, to change the world to suit their desires. Team Magma wants to use Groudon to dry up the oceans to make the world a haven for land Pokémon while Team Aqua wishes to summon Kyogre to flood the lands to suit Water Pokémon. With the help of Hoenn League Champion Steven Stone and the Gym Leader Wallace, the player defeats their respective team and then either captures or defeats the Legendary Pokémon to prevent a global drought/heavy rainfall, and thus ensuring the teams' mutual reformation. The player then advances on to the Pokémon League, challenging the Elite Four and then Steven to become the new Hoenn Pokémon League Champion. The player also has the option of participating in the various Pokémon Contests throughout Hoenn, using their Pokémon to put on a performance for an audience and judges. Aside from the gameplay, 20 new Mega Evolutions were added since Pokémon X and Y to enhance gameplay. A new side quest featured in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is called the Delta Episode. The player character must work with the new character Zinnia, Steven, and Professor Cozmo to find a way to stop a meteor from crashing into the planet, which requires capturing the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza in order to stop the meteor which contains the Mythical Pokémon Deoxys.

Citra for Android

By With No comments:

An (Unofficial) Android frontend for the Citra Emulator
This is an unofficial port for the Citra emulator based on the Dolphin emulator's Android frontend. So, huge props to the guys over there.
Since this code is almost entirely a copy of the Dolphin frontend, there are a lot of useless segments in here that aren't being used ... or are useless.
Download apk files from here

Device Requirements

  • OS
    • Android (5.0 Lollipop or higher).
  • Processor
    • A processor with support for either ARMv8 or x86-64; 32-bit processors (ARMv7, x86) are not supported by Citra.
  • Graphics
    • A graphics processor that supports OpenGL ES 3.2 or higher.

Known Issues

Since this is in very early stages of development a lot of things don't quite work properly yet:
  • Colors in games (since GLES doesn't support BGR color ordering, the color channels may be inverted);
  • Since this is based on an older version of Citra, bugs solved on newer versions of Citra may still be present.

Download Citra

The nightly build of Citra contains already reviewed and tested features. If you require support with the installation or use of Citra, or you want to report bugs you should use this version. This version is still in development, so expect crashes and bugs.
The Canary build of Citra is the same as our nightly builds, with additional features that are still waiting on review before making it into the official Citra builds. We will not provide support for issues found only in this version. If you believe you’ve found a bug, please retest on our nightly builds. This version is still in development, so expect crashes and bugs.

The Citra updater provides a easy interface to install, update and manage Citra. Unless you know what you are doing, this is likely what you are looking for. Citra currently does not support Android or iOS, only desktop x64 systems.

“If You get Citra Was Unable Locate the 3DS Shared Fonts/Fatal Error” or Asking for 3DS Dump Files Then Download the Home/User Folder from below Links:
Home/User Folder Mirror – System Archives and the Shared Fonts
Now follow Below Steps for How to Use that Home/User Folder :
Extract and copy the contents of the USER folder (the “nand” and “sysdata” folders)
and paste them into “%appdata%/Citra” (or: C:/Users/[your-user-name]/AppData/Roaming/Citra/) for windows
or for macOS and Linux, paste it into “~/.local/share/citra-emu/” and overwrite any existing files.
Edit: on Windows the “AppData” folder is hidden by default and on Mac OS and Linux the “.local” folder is hidden by default.
You may need to show hidden files to access these folders so you can paste the files.
